The Hypertext Conference, which first met back in 1987, is always an exceptional event.
From its inception, the conference has been small, intense, and serious. The conference
is completely free from marketing hype, there is no distracting trade show, and everyone
arrives early and stays late.
This year, the Hypertext Conference arrives in Southampton, England, and runs April 6-11, 1997.
It's not too late to plan a paper, a poster, or a demonstration for this year's conference. Posters and demonstrations are a wonderful opportunity to bring your new and adventurous ideas, and to discuss them with some the most knowledgeable and talented people in the field.

Wendy Hall (University of Southampton)
