Title: Spreadsheet Export

I know that it's possible to import a spreadsheet into Tinderbox. Is it possible to export? Looked in manual and don't see any export discussion.

Go via CSV or tab-delimited text.  Go to http://homepage.mac.com/mwra/FileSharing1.html, and download the bottom-right demo "Create tab-delim text export". I think it should help sort you out.

If you know the XML format for an Excel file (does Mac Office have this yet?) the you could probably make a template that is an XML/XLS file into which you can export your data. I've not tried this, but a quick look at the format (on my PC) makes me think it's possible. Hhowever, you'd need to calculate some things like the number of rows columns so I don't see it as any advantage over going to tab-delim text and importing that into Excel.

Much depends on the formats your particular spreadsheet (or whatever other application you might want to use) prefers.  But Tinderbox's HTML/XML and text export should suffice for almost anything you'd want to export.

Many spreadsheet programs accept comma-separated value files, such as

    Mark,5,10
    Linda, 6,10

A template for this sort of file might be

    ^get(Name), ^get(Score_1), ^get(Score_2) <return>
