Title: Strip quote marks on export?
Post by Paul Walters on Jan 30th, 2010, 4:12am

I want to export $Text from several notes and strip all double and single quote marks from the exported text (leaving the notes' original intact).  Before I work up a regex routine (or perhaps sed using command line?), I'm checking to see if anyone has a successful approach.

Thanks, Paul

Although for a different purpose, this example, has some use of replacement with the command line. If you end up with long commands the technique shown for parking code in another note may be of use.

Don't forget that export setting can make the quotes into HTML entities if that's the problem you're trying to work around.

Also worth noting that you can use single or double quotes.
