Title: Colouring a separator
Post by Mark Anderson on Jun 4th, 2014, 4:07pm

Someone asked how to do this:

Note the first separator is just coloured using $Color. The second, with a fill, uses $OutlineBackgroundColor. It's only accessible in the Inspector's Properties Inspector Quickstamp tab. The $OutlineBackgroundColor attribute is in the 'Out;line' attribute category. Or, use Get Info, or as shown here use a key attribute.

One other method, make a stamp. To colour the second separator, the code would be:

$OutlineBackgroundColor="bright red";

Or to colour bother box interior and Outline the same:

$OutlineBackgroundColor="bright red";$Color="bright red";

Hello Mark,

Thanks, I was trying to do it from the Inspector, but managed it now.

Cheers,

Graham

Ah yes, I was in the wrong place and assuming the choice of background colour, I was looking at,  was referring to the selected item ie the separator. Got it now.

Cheers,

Graham
