Title: How do links work now?
Post by james a. foster on Jun 6th, 2014, 5:17pm

I can't find a way to link two notes. I tried to follow the instructions in the help document, but it doesn't work. There isn't anything I can see that I can drag into a parking place (I assume the system parking place is the circle on the left of the tab bar). I can't drag the FROM note there, nor the parking place in the FROM note.

Help?

Thanks!! I didn't see the down-arrow or know what it was for (in outline mode).

How does one follow a link in TinderboxSix. In TBX5, I would do this in two ways: (1) go to the “Links” popup menu in the sidebar of a note’s text window and click on the desired link to open up the text window of that link’s destination note or (2) open up the “Browse Links” view and double click on the desired link to open up the text window of that link’s destination note. TBX6 has retired the text window sidebar, and, when I try to click a link in the new “Browse Links” popup view, nothing happens. Maybe, in my enthusiasm to pull all the new knobs and twist the new dials, I’m overlooking the obvious.

To avoid thread lift, I've answered your question in a new thread.
