Title: Can I evaluate an expression in a quickstamp?

With a stamp I can do:

Code:
$Name = $title

But I'm wondering if I can do something similar with a quickstamp? It seems like it's always a string literal, but I'd like to be able to evaluate an expression as the "to value" of a quickstep.

My own understanding is that Quickstamp is indeed for literal values only**. If you don't want to use rules, edicts or agents, a stamp is the best way to apply calculated values.

** though I'm happy to be proved wrong.
