Prototypes: inheriting children
Aug 07th, 2007, 1:03pm

In Tinderbox 4, notes inherit copies of their prototype's children.

This is very nice, for example, if you a planning document with a prototype for Trip.  Inside Trip, you have a bunch of adornments nicely laid out to suggest planning categories: people to see, things to eat, packing list, transportation, background.  Now, when you decide you want to open a planning dossier for (say) APRIL IN PARIS, your new container comes all set with copies of those nice new attributes.

See the release notes (in the HELP menu) for details.
