spotlight & 5

just a brief note: I used spotlight this morning and found what I needed only in Tbx 4 files - but the same content was not found in the tbx-5 version of the same file. This may be a known issue (and could well be due to Spotlight antics rather than Tinderbox).

If you think there is an issue here please ensure you provide detail to Eastgate support. One point does occur to me. To support the increased Unicode features some data such as the $Text contents are being stored as RTF rather than plain XML as in the past (actually in the short term it's stored as both RTF and XML). The RTF is probably making the TBX files less accessible to Spotlight. But, as I say, do please report your findings to Eastgate directly.

Actually, the RTF is a red herring -- we're storing the text both as plain text and as rtf, both in xml.

Using the .xml extension instead of .tbx may help.
