setting the title font for explorer view
Feb 07th, 2010, 3:37pm

I'd like to always use Courier font for the titles that are displayed in the left pane in explorer view, but I haven't figured out how to do this.

Is it possible? (and how!)

The left pane of Explorer view can be a chart, a map, or an outline.  But almost everyone uses an outline most of the time.

To set the typeface used for the outline view, set the attribute $NameFont.  You can do this

* directly, using the Font palette (cmd-T) to choose a font
* through QuickStamp
* by changing the default $NameFont (in the Attributes palette)
* by inheriting a $NameFont from a prototype
* by setting $NameFont in a rule or action.
