Geolocation view
Jun 11th, 2011, 4:50pm

Now that Tinderbox supports latitude and longitude attributes, it would be awesome to have a new view type: Geolocation view. This would be a flat map of the world on which notes with latitude and longitude would be automatically placed.

To avoid having to fiddle with the map as politics changed around the world, geolocation view would display the continents without state or country boundaries.

In the meantime, it's not very hard to export a Web page that displays a Google map or other geographical view.

Here's one example, though Tinderbox now does the hardest step -- finding the latitude and longitude -- automatically.
