Simon: we'll let you know which file you want shortly.   But are we looking in the same place? In /Tutorial/Tinderbox/Dashboards, I see four screencasts with running times of 7:22, 9:11, 18:52, and 6:39 respectively.

What features are you trying to learn about?  Perhaps we, or others here, can help point you in useful direction.

There's an enormous variation among Tinderbox users in background, experience, and (of course) in the tasks they want to undertake.  This morning, for example, I've been advising a novelist who wants to understand a story world that extends over numerous published volumes, even more stories still to be told, and which requires sorting by date using a newly-invented calendar. Then, I've been helping a lawyer with a font problem, a professor with performance issues in his huge Tinderbox research file, and a postdoc contemplating Tinderbox-related research topics.  So, one-size-fits-all approaches aren't going to work perfectly!

ScrncastSF09Pt6.mov in the 1. MasonScrncastSF09 folder.

I hadn't seen those other files - they don't appear to be mentioned in the 'What's on this CD file'. Will work through those. They do look like they contain the sort of instruction I need.

OK: Stacey's San Francisco talk was broken up into six separate movies, and the last one, which introduces a dashboard demo, is quite short because the details are better explored in the file than lectured upon.

The dashboards tutorial and Widgetron demo are in any case better for dashboards; we'll follow up regarding the previous demo.

How long after ordering the downloadable version should I expect to receive the actual download link?

Here is an odd question. I got the physical CD; copied it onto my desktop machine a few months ago; and at the moment am not sure where the CD itself is. But I am also having trouble locating the downloaded tutorial files! What are some sample names of files I might search for? Thanks

The root of the CD/DMG has a TBX called "What's On this CD?.tbx" and folders "Latest Versions", ExampleCases", "Tbx Cookbook", "Tutorial", "TB Demos". If you find that and if you use my demo bank (in TB Demos) then see this thread for a corrected index file.
