Export from Tinderbox to Word, Keynote, Latex, Etc
Aug 09th, 2011, 6:11pm

Would you want to export your Tinderbox outline (several levels deep, and items consisting of Name and Text) to MS Word? To Markdown? To Latex? To Excel? To Keynote? To RTF? To More 3.1 even?

If you own OmniOutliner 3 Pro, you can.

The trick is to use Mark A's OPML-for-Scrivener method for the two export templates you'll need to generate a basic OPML formatted outline from the ContainerNote (and its children notes) you select in your document.

With the method described in the thread "OPML Export - Examples" your outline opens straight in OmniOutliner. From here, rather than use Save As, choose Export from its File menu. And voila, a whole range of export format options.
