I've been building up this list for awhile (and these are in no specific order).
• In the Windows menu, show to which document a window belongs. • Drag a URL to the URL button in a note's sidebar. • Set font family, size, and color in the outline independently from the map. • In Outline view, if columns are present, TAB goes from note $Title to each column then to the next row. • Change the indentation in Outline view. • Auto-complete $KeyAttributes in the note window. • Mark $KeyAttributes as uneditable in the note window (thus they can be changed by Agents but not by the user). • Unify Attributes dropdown and Info button in sidebar. • A stamp for an Outline: I can set up an Outline with certain columns, etc., and then apply that to future Outline windows. • Hoist a note without having to first make it into a container by dragging a second note into it. • Keyboard shortcut for hoisting. • Add menu commands to the toolbar (especially stamps). • Option to orient toolbar vertically. • User-provided graphics for patterns and badges. • Inverse bevels. • Specify corner rounding for rounded corner note shape. • Agent queries in the Find dialog. • Link a note from one TBX to another. • Re-organized and clearer preferences. • Modernized UI (HID compliant?). • Gesture-aware. • Preference screen for setting note defaults for color, border, shading, etc. For new users, it's very confusing to have to drill down into the system defaults for these Attributes. A UI front-end to edit that would be very handy. • Re-organization/renaming of Attributes and categories. I've been using Tinderbox for awhile now and I still can't remember where some Attributes are. • Rename user-defined Attributes. • In Attribute pop-up (for example, when selecting sort criteria) using submenus rather than a huge, single list. • Search feature for Attributes.
I know some of these are wishful thinking but I think some of them are practical.
Thanks!
