Data analysis using the Beatles' hits
Oct 28th, 2012, 4:50pm
This all started a while back when someone asked me to do something with the data in this article. If I recall we hit some roadblock, since resolved and the files have been siting on my h/d since. Whatever. Here are the files. The files include a worked/finished example:

Use the data as you set fit.  For the' I just want to', types there's a worked example which will let you rip the best code/ideas for you own projects. For those who want to learn a bit, there are instructions on how the basic data was imported allowing you to walk the steps.

However, the main idea here was to give you enough so that you can experiment with dashboards. It's a great concept. But, as I've learned to my cost they're hard to investigate without some real-world data. Made up data tends to be patchy or too perfect. The joy here is it's real, public data.

Anyway, take a look. If you make an interesting dashboard do please share a screengrab here (how?) and/or your TBX used to make it. As the data's public, there happily are no privacy issues. Do please share as discussion of technique is invariably enlightening!
