Agent query
Jan 27th, 2013, 2:24am

Hi,

I'm on a roll tonight. Suppose I have the following configuration of notes:

SomeParent
 A
   CollectLinksToA

Elsewhere
 B
 C

such that B and C each have a "requires" link  to A (i.e., B -> A, C -> A), and CollectsLinksToA is an agent whose intent is to collect those notes that have a requires link to A (I added 'requires' to the TB's list of link types). A key point to note is that CollectLinksToA is a child of A, and what I want to collect is every note that has a 'requires' link to the note that is the parent of the agent. In the scenario above, the agent should collect both B and C. I've tried to express this using the following query:

 links(parent(agent)).inbound.requires.$Name

But this just seems to collect a bunch of notes, possibly all of them, I have yet to discern the pattern. Regardless, it's not what I'm after. Is this possible??

Thanks,

Roger Alexander.
