Drag-and-drop chars from Tbx5 to Tbx6
Aug 23rd, 2014, 5:26am

Hi
"special" characters such as é è à où and the like translate in gibberish when you drag-and-drop a note from a Tbx 5 open file to a Tbx 6 file.

Example the following sentence in Tbx 5 :
Ceci est évalué très positivement

becomes :
Ceci est évalué très positivement

Curiously if the french characters are in the $Name of the note, the accents and other "special characters" are not transformed.

Also, when copy-paste accents are okay. Strange.

Where can I get a way to control this curious change?

Best
Rigas

Don't drag from Tinderbox 5 to Tinderbox 6.

Instead, make a copy of your Tinderbox 5 file, and open the copy in Tinderbox Six. Use that copy, or copy/paste from that Tinderbox Six document to another Tinderbox Six document.
