URLs into links
May 04th, 2015, 7:13pm

I'm sure there's an easy way to do this, so I apologize in advance for not finding the simple way to do it.

Problem: pasting URLs into notes doesn't automatically make them clickable.

I can drag an URL into a note, which does.

If I'm pasting in a bunch of URLs however, I'd like them all them all  be clickable -- "live" -- without dragging in each one individually, or adding them as attributes.

How do I do this?

BTW, I'm using 6.2.1

Many thanks.

I don't believe this is possible in the manner desired.

But this is easily supported by Keyboard Maestro.

Turn on Edit ▸ Substitutions ▸ Smart Links to make URLs clickable.  (This will probably be turned on by default in the future.)

Note that these links do not show up in Browse Links....

Thank you Mark -- that's wonderful.

I did it, and it works. It's made all the difference. I'm always collecting URLs. Smiley
