display data of more than 1 container in TimeLine
Jun 24th, 2016, 4:50pm

How does one get Tinderbox to display the content of different note-containers (at least more than one) in one single Timeline?

Ideas?

Cheers!

A timeline shows all descendants of the current container; items with, at minimum, a $StartDate are plotted - those without are placed in a sidebar. If $TimelineDescendants (default true) is set to false only the items in the current container are plotted.

Without seeing your document's structure, I'd suggest placing both containers in a common container and using a timeline of that parent container.

Or, if Mark Anderson's suggestion doesn't suit, add an agent to your timeline container that locates all the notes inside(some other container).
