Lag before string attribute field accepts text
Jul 21st, 2016, 2:00pm

In Tb 5.12, if I tab to or click in a new string attribute field the cursor instantly flashes and the attribute field immediately accepts text input.

In Tb 6.6.1, clicking in a string attribute field results in a blue band across the field, and a lag before it is ready to accept text. Sometimes a single click doesnít do the trick at all though double-clicking does get the field to immediately accept text. †But I generally forget to double-click...

Is this a quirk of my set-up which I should be able to correct? (Iím using OS 10.11.5)

I expect it's a quirk in your setup, or conceivably you prefer the older text control in the older system.   The blue band" is, of course, the standard focus ring in macOS text fields.
