Creating a new attribute
Aug 04th, 2016, 4:45pm

I'm building a series of notes that represent people and would like to add a LinkedIn url attribute. There doesn't seem to be any "add" button on the attributes dialogue.

How can I do this?

Thanks!

In the Document Inspector's User Attribute pane.

Use the User sub-tab of the Document Inspector whose UI is explained here.

As you're making an attribute to store a URL, don't forget to set the data type to 'url'. If you forget you end up with the default 'string' type. You can change this after the attribute has been made but avoid that scenario if at all possible.
