Keep adornment "sent" to the back?
Sep 21st, 2016, 2:24pm

I have some overlapping adornments. One big one, with several little ones on top. I'd like the big one to stay in the background, i.e., for it to never cover the smaller ones. Yet, I often click it (in order to create a new note), and then need to open the contextual menu to "send it to the back." Is there a way to "pin" it to the back or similar?

If you lock the adornment is will stay in the back; selecting or dragging an item brings it temporarily to the front so you can see it.

Ah, got it. Tried the pin but forgot to try the lock.

The “pin” makes the adornment sticky -- it makes notes stick to the adornment.  The “lock” locks the adornment to the background.
