map- how do I avoid an offset?

In the map below, I have a 4x4 adornment and a 4x4 note.  The adornment has a query that finds the Teddy Roosevelt note.  How do I avoid the offset?  I want the Teddy Roosevelt to be directly on top of the adornment.

How about this in the $OnAdd of the adornment (or as the action of a smart adornment):

$Xpos = $Xpos(adornment);$Ypos = $Ypos(adornment);

Actually, on testing, this does work for a normal adornment but not for a smart adornment (I also tried fiddling with $CleanupAction).

Might I ask why you want the note to snap over the adornment? Is this a workaround for your issue with images in note icons?
