System Requirements
Tinderbox runs superbly on all modern Macintosh computers. We recommend a G3 or G4 and MacOS 8.5 or later. Tinderbox runs beautifully on iMacs and iBooks.
Tinderbox takes up about 5M on your hard disk (less if you don't need the manual). It likes to have 16M of memory, but can cope with much less if you're short of space.
If you use Tinderbox to share notes on the Web, Tinderbox works beautifully with the Web host you already use. All you need is a way to copy files to your server: no scripting or programming required. And you don't need to install anything on your server.
 To read the Tinderbox manual, you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 5 or better. Chances are, you already have this; if not, it's a free download.
What about OS X?
Tinderbox for MacOS X is coming very soon. Since Tinderbox comes with a year of FREE updates, the upgrade will be free. In the meantime, Tinderbox runs beautifully as a Classic applications.
What about Windows?
We're already hard at work, designing Tinderbox for Windows. It's a big project; we'll be as fast as we can!
