Where is hypertext science? Where is hypertext history?

Few hypertexts that make any serious effort at talking about science. Most of these are written for kids and marketed to parents or politicians.

These are EASY tasks for hypertext -- much easier, in many ways, than storytelling. Why have we accomplished so little?
