Review Copies
The Press
Eastgate is delighted to provide review copies of its titles to the working press -- staff writers (and freelance writers on assignment) working for magazines, newspapers, or journals throughout the world. To request a review copy of any title, call our office at +1 (617) 924-9044, send a fax to +1 (617) 924-9051, or send email to info@eastgate.com .
Web Sites
Web sites that publish reviews are a growing part of both the literary and the computer world, and Eastgate, as one of the pioneers of hypertext writing, is eager to support Web reviews. We welcome review copy requests from writers on assignment for Web periodicals, as well as requests from non-profit, amateur, and personal sites that publish book or hypertext reviews.
Interviews and Appeareances
We are always happy to arrange interviews with Eastgate authors, researchers, and editors. Many of our writers are excellent speakers, and we will do our best to arrange lectures, signings, radio interviews, or special events.
Schools and Universities
Eastgate hypertexts are used in courses throughout the world, and our license agreements are designed to meet the needs of libraries. Institutions may license most Eastgate titles for 10 or 100 simultaneous users at very modest prices, and can distribute copies for purchase through school bookstores. Instructors wishing to assign many titles to a single class may wish to inquire about special bundles, which can sometimes be arranged at a reduced price.
We regret that we cannot furnish evaluation copies.
Desk copies of titles that have been adopted for courses are available on request, after the corresponding order has been received and processed. Please use the desk copy request form supplied by your institution.
New Titles
The Eastgate List provides prompt notification of new titles as well as other hypertext news. The Eastgate List averages two bulletins a month, so it won't overload your mailbox. The subscription list is strictly confidential.
