Cyborg

Cycles are prominent, too, in Greco's Cyborg: Engineering the Body Electric (Eastgate, 1995). Greco's cycles aren't artistic explorations, nor are they discourses on the philosophical foundation of argumentation: Greco explores the body, its penetration by technology, and the implications of the cyborg for our understanding of gender and identity. Greco's cycles, like the Cyborg's, arise from the work's own needs.
