Portions of this hypertext were written for a lecture at the Bibliotèque de France in conjunction with the colloquium, "Tous les savoirs du monde: actualité de l'encyclopedisme", March 1997.

This hypertext was made with Storyspace. After the hypertext structure was complete, it was exported from Storyspace to HTML and decorated using BBEdit, Fractal Painter, and various other web tools.

This map of "Chasing Our Tails" was created with a new hypertext analysis tool now under development at Eastgate.
